The Legend of Bevo
Reflecting the rich history and tradition of the University of Texas, Changing of the Guard is part of a comprehensive collection celebrating American college football. In this piece, Bevo XIII rests on the field as Bevo XIV takes charge. In the background, the Tower stands tall and strong in the burnt orange glow of its deep-rooted and highly regarded academic and athletic programs. The helmet was worn by the Longhorns in 1969 in honor of 100 years of college football.
